OMG, Tom, I can't believe it! I've never lived in NYC, but I somehow have absorbed the mythical nature of the Second Avenue Subway from my friends who have.
Yay Hamilton Day!
My conference call that I was going to have to rush this morning to be ready for is being repurposed. Whew!
I thought I'd check the unclaimed property even though the last time I looked there wasn't anything -but I found some account I don't remember with $80!
I took another day off to spare my co-workers the Cold From Hell. However, if I take another unplanned absence this month, I'll lose my bonus for the month. Sorry, co-workers! My germs are your germs!
Hey, I have $9.82 coming to me. I'll take it.
So, DH and I have found a house (online) we both think would be perfect for us in Ypsilanti (I'll be Aimee's neighbor!). It looks like someone was trying to flip it and ran out of money--it has no kitchen. But we like that, as we can decide what kind of kitchen we want, and it's SO CHEAP--$79k. We can use some of the money we get from selling our house to put in a kitchen an still have it be a very economical option. It's this one: [link]
If it's still on the market when we go there at the end of the month...who knows.
I've been working remotely, so it's my first day back in the office in weeks. I managed to get up on time, make coffee, and even meditated this morning.
That looks great, Scrappy!
Good on you, shrift.
OK, I should stop luxuriating in not being late for a deadline and actually do my work.
Oh wow, Scrappy, that is a lot of potential!
A Lyft driver the other day was saying his buddy had done a lot of work on his house before selling it, and the new buyers gutted it anyway. So it feels like you might as well get a place with nothing to start! (Although I like that bathroom a lot.)
Yeah, the bathroom is a definite plus for me.
