Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Oh right. All that.

I did not mean to minimize the impact on them, more criticize our asshole Gov for fighting against a few hundred.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I worked from home today and cleared up the last things I could clear for 2016. I found out I have Monday off--for some reason I thought the office was open. So that was a nice surprise.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

criticize away, msbelle

I just looked at how much work (as in for my job) I need to do in the next week and a half before I leave for Philadelphia and I may need to go hyperventilate somewhere. Ugh.

So much for vacation. I mean, I guess I shouldn't complain that my 3 weeks between semesters isn't really weeks off. That would be a loooong vacation.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I've been working from home this week. Work is super dead, so I really should devote some time to documentation and proposals or what have you, but instead I've been doing homework to finish up my Stanford class, which I have to finish by Jan. 2nd. I'm on the last module before the final exam. After today, I'm off for 5 days, so of course I woke up with a sore throat.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

And is one of the root words of quesadilla "queso", ie cheese?

Yes. I think you are making ham quesadillas.

Huh. There is a "Sierra Club Singles" midnight hike on NYE that starts at Sur la Table in the Ferry Building. Blowing my mind a little.

Yummy, yummy ham quesadillas. Which are going to be dinner tonight. French raclette cheese and organic ham, in locally produced tortillas grilled in Irish butter.
