Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

Because books.

Oh man, the idea of Tim out fighting crime is a really excellent one.

And Strix, you should totally wind up a superhero. Plus, what Plei said.

Thinking about you and yours, Consuela, and sending love and strength.

The urge to hide until this year passes is really strong right now.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

And he does have a sidekick named Kato.

That's partly who Kato is named after. But also the Pink Panther's Kato. Our dog is more Green Hornet!Kato than Pink Panther!Kato.

brillig

Our dog is more Green Hornet!Kato than Pink Panther!Kato.

Always good to go with the less homicidal choice.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry, Consuela.

We got back last night, later than planned.(Flight took off an hour and a half late) Florida was nice, but not the most restful. (Yeah, I know, life with a toddler) I need a vacation from my vacation.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It is comforting to think of Merman Tim out fighting crime, especially in this horrible year. Strix, you're a special kind of superhero, too--good for you.

Consuela, I'm so very sorry.

I'm...sort of braced, terribly afraid of losing anybody else before the damned ball drops. Wouldn't mind so much if it was Turnip and his crew, but no, we seem to be losing staunch representatives of diversity. And we can't afford to lose them, in either a personal or a cultural capacity.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I think it's a slow motion rapture. And God's taste therein is way closer to mine than I would have expected.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If so, Ruth Bader Ginsburg better start blaspheming now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

2016 is the darkest timeline. I can't even with this fucking shithole dumpster fire of a year.

Here's what I'm afraid of: this year feels like the worst possible for celebrity deaths, but I think 2017 will be so much worse for the world.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I was just having that conversation with my sister, Jesse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's not a great feeling!
