Aww, strix. That's so hard.

I'm at a train museum? Because I wanted to see my bff and she and her wife were babysitting her nephews? It was kinda cool, but like $5 cool, not $17 cool.

Scrappy, your Christmas sounds like an awesome one to me! We only saw two movies

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I did a wee bit of yardwork. gathered up fallen branches from various piles from the last few months, scooped up dog poop, and trimmed crazy long overgrowth of a few bushes. Mac even raked up a full bag of leaves from the patio (for $$ natch). I sent him the spreadsheet showing him how he can earn enough $$ to buy the crazy computer by his birthday. He was not motivated enough to rake up a second bag to double his money. There are probably enough leaves to easily triple it without too much effort, but he lacks effort.

I wish a magic fairy paid me for chores. I guess I could pay myself for doing onerous tasks and have that go in a vacation fund.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, strix.

I guess I could pay myself for doing onerous tasks and have that go in a vacation fund.

That's a great idea.

I went to rehearsal and then grocery shopping and now I feel like since I didn't do anything productive at home all weekend why start now?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Strix, it's so hard. Lots of hugs.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Strix}} Rough stuff for sure.

I guess I could pay myself for doing onerous tasks and have that go in a vacation fund.

Nice! I like that plan.

Home in total chill mode. Watched a Queen concert on MTVLive from '82. Kids are making homemade pizza and cookies. Dog is so very happy to have me here. Loved getting away, and needed it, but at the same time; there's no place like home.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Well, this is it. Dad can't swallow any meds, food, or water. So it's just a matter of time. My oldest brother is laid up with a bum leg after knee surgery a week or two ago, and the middle one is on a ski trip with his family; neither are likely to get here before he passes, but my younger brother lives in SJ and he will probably come up tomorrow.

Happily, my boss is totally cool about taking time for family issues (he lost both his parents within the space of a year, last year). Sister & I will be taking shifts, but we also have very good round-the-clock care; Dad won't be alone.

Goddamnit 2016, anyway.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm so sorry.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm sorry, Consuela. It's hard.
