There is all sorts of family drama afoot. My dad voted for trump, my mom secretly gave my sister cash to donate to planned parenthood, my niece was vomiting all last night, my sisters former foster kid who is back from college for Christmas got her wisdom teeth out today...and apparently my BiL just lost his (new as of July) job. Gud, I hope the pharmacy was for meds for your back pain. Or that you at least took ibuprofen (which, BTW, you can take 800 mg of the over-the-counter ibuprofen, but space it out by 6-8 hours).
