I made it to Michigan and so did my checked bag. My sister came to pick me up and slammed her hand in the car door, which caught her wedding band and the diamond fell out. On the plus side, she found the diamond in the snow and salt, and she didn't do any damage to her hand.
I now have clean clothes on and a mug of tea, so I guess I probably should do some work today. I release the travel~ma into the wild for another Buffista.

I have found a bunker with 8200 sq ft half way btw St Louis and Kansas City for $295000. That is easily room for 15-18 ppl. It also has 13 acres which could easily do 20 or more smallish houses. ijs
jeepers ... that's about what a one-bedroom condo would cost in town, assuming you weren't picky about location or condition
Sure, but I'm guessing the view would be better.
Not from an underground bunker.
Why are there so many problems with this house? Don't they have home inspections in Canada?
If it's in Toronto or Vancouver, the markets are so hot that theirs usually bidding wars and people buy without conditions, including inspections because they so desperately so want a house.
So my family had some terrible news. My cousin's son murdered her partner. My aunt said it was an argument that took a terrible turn, but that is third hand info. I don't know my cousin well at all, but my heart breaks for her. [link]
