Fingers crossed for good flight karma!

C'mon, Travel Gods, have pity on our shrift!
Oh Shrift.
I'm just glad that Google is creepy and knew I was flying today and helpfully showed my that my flight was cancelled. No notice from my travel agency. No notice from Frontier. All other Frontier flights are sold out today and tomorrow and the couple of other available seats on other airlines are insanely expensive. So, no trip for me. But it was a work thing that I can do on conference calls, not optimal, but we can make it work.
So, I'm back to my normal working from home routine. Which is actually kind of nice.
Yay, we finished in only 3 hours.
won a Coast Guard rescue boat in the office gift exchange.
How did you get it home?
Shrift, in all the holiday nightmare travel movies don't they all end with some heartwarming scene?
It 10° now and is supposed to reach 20° by 4pm. I'm dubious.
Hah, Connie. It's this.
Hah, Connie I totally had to go back and re-read. Shipping a boat would indeed be difficult.
I was PLANNING to be all productive today. But nooooo. My email doesn't work. Been on hold for IT chat for 40 minutes so guess it's not just me.
I'm glad you at least get to stay home, Suzi.
I think if the trains have a history of being on time, I'd probably go for that.
Nope, Amtrak rarely is on time here. They don't own the tracks and share them with freight.
Standby flight got delayed again. Of course it did.
Shrift, I'm passing all my travel-fu on to you. May you get a standby seat and the flight take off soon.
