I used to get to travel. I wonder, if I sold my house how long it would be before I ran through all the money living a nomadic lifestyle. Do they have AirBnB passes?

Next April is a milestone birthday for me, so I need to start planning Scolapalooza 2.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Scolapalooza!!

I'm trying to make a tube of pipe insulation (??) into a microphone, and I can't tell how it's going. Edit: Looking back at more pictures, I think I really need a dowel instead...and maybe I have one somewhere, or it's back to the hardware store.

Because books.

Me, too, Scola! Come see me down here and we can ... palooza together.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The last Scolapalooza was so excellent, I kind of want to follow the tour.

Flying back to San Francisco today. It'll be nice to be home, but I also don't want to leave New Zealand.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It is ridiculously warm for late October here.

I also don't want to leave New Zealand.

Giving New Zealand sufficient time basically takes a sabbatical, I suspect. There's just too much of it to see.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

How does one go about taking a sabbatical?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

At my job, they will give you six weeks paid and another six unpaid after you've worked there for 10 years.
