Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It doesn't work.

What? Bah.

I bought a coloring book at Target yesterday. That's where I'm at.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I bought a coloring book at Target yesterday. That's where I'm at.

Avengers? (I have an Avengers coloring book from Target. It's awesome. I made the Hulk pink.)

There is some good news in the world. Here's a round up: [link] And a lot of the items are non-US, so Trump may well have no effect on them.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thank you for good news, Calli.

(Damn it, I just violated my own request to not post about our imminent slide into Planet of the Apes.)

So when are the apes scheduled to take over? I want a peaceful transition of power, you know.

I can't even describe the incompetence of the co-worker I just spoke to.

So hey, all of the news is terrible, and I'm beyond freaked out. Twitter used to be fun.

I'm listening to the ocean using a meditation app and trying not to panic. It's not working very well. I need to focus on Yuletide and then finishing off the Stanford class I'm taking. And, you know, work.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

sarameg--after my hysterectomy, they told me to keep a pillow on my lap and hug it to my stomach when I had to cough. It helped a lot.

I'm listening to classical music.

Oh yeah, I got one of those for every napping location.

I did not see an Avengers coloring book! Mine has flowers and paisleys. Very soothing.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

So, we have an online learning management system which is where we keep our gradebooks. Last year our school site was in charge of administering ours. This year, the AP in charge of it handed it over to the district wide tech division (for a bunch of reasons, but it is a lot of work to be the admin) Grades are due on Friday. Today, all of my courses disappeared from the system.

This happened when our 15 week grades were due too. YAY?
