I fell down and got confused. Willow fixed me. She's gay.

Yay billytea!

I am still sick, but not too sick to see a matinee of Hamilton yesterday! (Got the tix from brenda here, who is awesome.) It was amazing.

Trying not to let the cold Chicago weather keep this Californian inside; right now I'm off for a massage....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, jealous. Hamilton and a massage sound like much better plans than stupid work.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Woohoo, billytea!

Husband is home sick. I am fervently hoping he doesn't give me the cold.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congrats, billytea!

~ma to everyone who's sick!

I'm enjoying the occasional dinners with my new friend D. down the street, although she's a bit nutty, but today she's decided she's going to introduce me to her friends who work with the local Democratic Party, because they "could use someone with my energy." What? What energy? Ugh. I don't want to be volunteered. I do need to meet more local people - I GUESS - so I'll go along, but I am not going to any marches or knocking on any doors.

Turns out D. is from a wealthy family in Rhode Island and knows someone who might be able to help my niece get a job. Networking!

I think the secret to successful networking is wine.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Billytea is a Master!
