Mmm, that sounds good, Dana.

Jesse, inside mosquitoes have been driving me crazy the last couple of days.
Thank god my Twitter feed is running ahead of my football stream, because I can spoil myself and not expire from stress. Fricking overtime.
Last night Ethan and I went to see Paul Simon's last concert at Corona Park, and I spent an hour and 45 minutes in line for a very mediocre "po boy" that by the time I got it was like manna from heaven because I was so fucking hungry. On the plus side, I did bond with the other people who were stuck in line, and because there was time while we were waiting for food to go back and forth to the wine/beer/cocktail vendor many MANY times, we all wound up making the best of it. At least we could still hear the music while we were waiting, and I did get to see the last half of the concert including the hour-long encore, which was terrific.
Wow, you have filled me with so many mixed emotions. Not least among them the heady combination of great admiration for packing so much into a short post leavened wishing for more details.
I'm so glad I took tomorrow off work. Good thinking, past me.
I'm sorry this is an all-bug meara:
It could be mosquito bites. For me, they never really appear as red, itchy bumps right away. It's usually either when I'm going to bed or the next morning that I realize I've been eaten alive.
Yes! I am definitely leaning this way.
Jesse, we also have teeny tiny jillifonts that love to snack on me (and Alexandra, unfortunately). Big red bumps, but they're not in a line (which is the tipoff for bedbugs, I think).
I would mind that less than bedbugs. I mean, at least if they are willing to eat other things too? I know I have a little one in my kitchen...
If it looks like two little bites right next to each other, that's probably fleas
Or vampires. Could be tiny vampires.
I wish it were tiny vampires! (It is definitely not fleas, then.)
Jesse, inside mosquitoes have been driving me crazy the last couple of days.
Solidarity!!! They must be coming inside before they die for the winter, right?
I think I'm actually going to use a fogger.
The best thing we used for fleas in the past was that powder stuff used throughout the house in the carpets, upholstery, etc. because it lasts for a really long time. I've not had them in recent years but for a while they were vicious.
Mosquitos got no reason to live. Just sayin.
SIL is getting released from hospital tomorrow. No surgery needed, just more pharmaceutical abuse.
Shut the front door, Ronan Farrow and a co-writer just posted an article about another accusation against Kavanaugh.
Ronan Farrow is going save us all.
Seriously. We need to get him a knighthood or something.
