Timelies all!
We are on week 3 of Mr. S refusing to go to bed when we put him there. He climbs out of the crib, runs down the hall(often giggling) and we put him back in bed. Couple minutes later, lather, rinse, repeat. Gary and I are at our wits' end.
Mutual friend in the band is here and siting with me. Other friends are probably 5 min out. I almost finished a pint already. That is what happens is I am at a bar alone, I drink fast. No good.
Our first preview of the first show of the season just started. I'm sitting in my office with my foot propped up.

It's going to be fine. You've got company and you had a drink. And friends are coming and the band will be on soon.
It's good to get out.
Hope it ended up being fun, msbelle
Hi!
Looks like many if not all of the IDC get ousted from the Senate, so that is good.
I was so happy to see that
I hate it when that happens, msbelle. I hope you ended up having a fun evening.
I don't know what ideas are lately for parents and kids about *bed* parameters, but would Mr. S be amenable to a "nest" in the corner of the room where the parents are where he could flop to sleep and not be consigned to the outer reaches of aloneville? Or is that frowned on?
Sheryl, we have ltc in a toddler bed in a very childproofed room with child safety handles on the inside of her door so that she cannot get out. She can get up, but she stays in her room. I don't know if that would be an option for you.

sj, we put something on the inside doorknob that's supposed to keep kids from opening the door. He figured it out and now he gets out all the time. Other than putting a lock on the outside of the door(and we know that's not a good idea, safety-wise) we don't know what to do.
