The best is that none of our original documents for this app got sent back. We have to send in a form to get them. That includes his passport. His original issued readoption (the thing that gives him citizenship), his official US issued birth certificate, MY birth certificate, and probably more. Passport people at least send that shit back.

We brought our passports, and the person on the other side of the desk asked if we had a driver's license because that was better for them

What? That's bizarre.

Ok that may have been bad info. The form says that any requested docs will be sent back without the form. I am calling now.

Technically, if he has a US passport, that is proof of his US citizenship. I can totally understand wanting the certificate as well, of course.

Signed, I am an official US Passport Acceptance Agent. (It is super-fun. I have seen practically everything you can imagine in the past couple of years.)

Yep the passport was fine, but well it expires and he is flakey.

I have seen a bunch of super-flaky people in my passport work. Last week I talked to a 32 year old man who told me he'd have to ask his mother if she had a copy of his birth certificate.

I have an appt with the surgeon tomorrow owning & we'll schedule the surgery asap then. Talking to his receptionist ( who didn't have the paperwork from the er just yet) she was all " in the next couple weeks" and I said "5cm stone" "OH! In the next week, then!"

Took my first hydrocodone. We'll see how this goes.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Poor sarameg--sorry that you are in pain.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
