So tired and generally feeling yuck, so I texted in sick to work. Went to Dr for sore on my arm, we're unsure what it is, do treating it as both bacterial and fungal. Also my anxiety/depression survey I have to do every time I go in was higher than normal so had to do a whole talk about that and consider increasing meds, but not doing it right now.
Then I took my car for inspection, it was due in August. Got that done. Now home and I think I'm going to do one report I need for work and then read for the rest of the day.
Huh, I didn't think of powertrain warranty. Must research!
In happier news, my decision to rent a rideshare vehicle to keep driving looks like it will at least keep some cashflow going. So I'm merely leaking money, not gushing it out.
I'm glad you're able to do that, Theo.
msbelle, rest and take care of yourself.
Timelies all!
Sorry about the car problems, Theo.
ltc and I had lunch with TCG. Today is his first day at his new job, and I'm already loving it. Even if he has to go to a meeting tonight and tomorrow night.
A friend of mine has started painting, and he's not bad. He's wanting to sell some to finance a trip to New York, and he just produced one that has a gorgeous sky and intriguing landscape. I just negotiated a price over Facebook, but he can't ship it until it's dry. I feel so Renaissance art patron.
I swear, I had intentions to get things done today
I scheduled a flu shot and did a couple of work things, and now I'm full on "But I already did something today!"
In other news, I was talking with my mom last night. There must be some human trafficking fearmongering going on somewhere, because I told her that human traffickers ain't snatching middle class white girls WHO WOULD BE MISSED from the goddamn mall, so maybe ratchet down the worry about your grandchildren.
I did some banking and sorted some recycling and now it's rainy and cold and I just want to nap.
This afternoon was basically my one shot all week to get work done, and yet I've wasted most of it! Oh well.
Also, I've written 55 of the 75 postcards I volunteered to write for the ACLU to send to voters who didn't vote in the last midterm election. I get to feel smug about that, right?
