Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Lots of ~healing ma for Becky! That's frightening. I hope she does well.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, Laura! Best thoughts to Becky.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

(~mas and fingers crossed as needed and wanted.)

I'm skipping to say that, hi, buffistas? Shana tova. And may it be a better one than last year. Health and love and happiness to you and yours.

(I still don't know how my next year will look like, in any direction - I will move to another place and I will have to change job and maybe I'll study a bit and complete a diploma I neglected a few years ago and with the SO we're in the beginning of finding out if we need a break to figure out things because we now live in different cities - but I really really hope all of these changes will be for the better because these are a lot of changes all at once, dear lords).

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

That is a LOT of change, Shir. Wishing you the best outcomes.

Thank you. I am willing and prepared to 60-70% of these changes, I think. It is time.

Our wings are not tired.

Shana tova, Shir. May all the changes in your new year bring with them joy.

Talking to my husband and son results in different views. DH is super emotional and not calm in crisis. He is teary on the phone in panic over his baby sister. Son calls at 11:30 last night on his way home after he and his wife have spent 11 hours at the hospital. His only objective is to reassure me knowing I probably have only spoken with his dad. He reminds me she is in a great Fort Lauderdale hospital, she is super healthy overall (other than obesity), has been vegetarian for decades, has almost never taken any antibiotics so no tolerance built up, and she is being closely monitored and getting all the good care and drugs. DIL is also super chill having been EMS for a long time. They apologize for calling me so late when they know I will be in bed but didn't want me to go to sleep without a more objective report.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love my son and his wife?

hip deep in pie

All the best for your SiL, Laura.

This morning I am doing a deep clean of my tiny bathroom and it's taking much longer than I thought it would. Who builds a bathroom with a 2-inch gap between the vanity and the tub? Did they know how many things can fall in there and how hard it is to clean? Besides, where did all these 7/8 empty bottles of lotion and bubble bath come from? Who owns so many beauty products when they rarely wear make up? Who lives like this???

This just in: a largish spider has made his home in the 2-inch gap on a mostly empty bottle of lotion and I have disturbed him. I think I now must move.

Eeep, moving seems a reasonable solution.
