There's nothing that makes me feel like a pervy old lady more than scrolling through Facebook and noticing a photo and thinking, "who's that hot guy?" and realizing it is the son of my friend. Bonus points when the hot guy in question is fifteen, although today at least it was a college graduate.

JFC. So I never turned my alarm clock back on after the holiday, so I overslept about 45 minutes. I would have been in 9-ish, except then the subway was broken, so I spent 30+ minutes waiting for a train! So annoying.

I took today off because I am terrified of snow during the commute and it's supposed to snow all day, with 3-5 inches by the end of the day. I know I can't do this every storm, but the next couple of snow incidents are supposed to be later in the day, without the rain we've been having yesterday, ie, a nice layer of ice underneath. I feel like a coward, but I can't afford to smack my car into something or have some idiot slide into me. That's what I get for moving to on top of a hill.

Shit, there's an active shooter situation at Ohio State. t edit They're reporting 9 people have been shot and the shooter hasn't been caught yet. Students are saying on Twitter that the shooter pulled the fire alarm in a building and then shot at the people leaving the building.
