Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Holy Moses, Andi!

WRT Anne of Green Gables, I wish someone would do a good adaptation of The Five Little Peppers, or possibly The Boxcar Children. I loved them so much, and there are interesting boys and girls. pBS seems to have a Pollyanna adaptation, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

After that, spending an hour on the phone with our IT department getting my new computer set up and online didn't faze me.

Ha! Truth.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Wow, Andi!

I totally blew off Thanksgiving yesterday in favor of reading. As it was just me and the cats, I don't think anyone was upset by that. I did make a very tasty ginger, carrot and sweet potato soup today though.

Wow, I thought watching Lilo & Stitch for some light Friday evening entertainment was a good idea. I forgot about Hubby singing along to Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride and the whole "This is my family" thing. It's a good thing I don't own "Up." Damned animated kids movies.

My flight home transferred through Oakland today, and I realized I probably haven't been to the Bay Area since the early 80s (and I don't remember much from that trip, unsurprisingly.)

And I'm fighting a cold, I think.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yeah, that would be a shredder, Connie.

sarameg, are you getting hit with cold after cold this year, or am I getting mixed up?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

sarameg, I hope you didn't pick up my cold as you swung through Oakland!

I fought off my cold long enough to go see Vienna Teng do a short set as a fundraiser for climate change, and that was great, and now I'm miserable and sick again.

Doing the math of how much acetaminophen I'm allowed to take as part of these multi-medicine pills gets more complicated the longer I'm sick...

sara, sorry for the cold.

not your mom's socks.

Consuela, I'm researching lighthouses for a thing or two and was thinking of you.

Home from DH's family. They are lovely, but it's a definitively male-led discussion around the table. I could say nothing right unless I was agreeing with someone quickly.

Librarian Warlord

I hear that our parents survived their Thanksgiving without us, hippocampus.

We are packing up to head home (boo). I caught a crud, so whoever sits near me on the plane, I apologize in advance.
