I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I would like some kind of strawberry dessert now. I'm not picky.

I was thinking how good angel food cake sounds right about now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

meara, did anyone say Pavlova? That's the festive gluten-free option, I think.

Jesse I made a pavlova last year! :) it was good but v messy.

I'm thinking icebox cake with gluten free bought cookies, so I don't have to fuss with whether my gluten free baking is any good. But I do want angel food cake now.

I've never had pavlova. I'm exhausted today. Meanwhile, ltc woke up saying "what are we doing today? Another party?"

Tea: I made $27 on one of my clean out bags from thred up with a possible $16 more if stuff sells. The second bag hasn't been processed yet. I think I'll treat myself to a nice purse from the website after the next bag is processed.

Aw! But see, this is exactly why I've always liked my 12/26 birthday -- it's a softer let-down from the Big Deal that is Christmas.

I can see that. Though, I always liked having a birthday 7 months after Christmas because that meant presents twice a year.

We leave for vacation Friday morning. So I need to unpack the party stuff and pack for the trip. Instead I have ordered medical supplies, set a hold for the mail, and set a hold for the newspaper. When the sitter comes I'm going to get my oil change and a dead headlight fixed.
