My company just picked up a contract programming the control systems for a new escape room.
Ooh! Tell us which company so we can drill you for cheat codes!

Hello, people. I'm now 33 and slightly drunk.
Pride is in Jerusalem tomorrow. I worry about this one. There are ugly tensions, thanks to bots, and at least three counter demonstrations will take place trying to disrupt the parade. With that, we are expecting bigger numbers than ever.
Sadly, police said "no. nope. no no no. never" to accessible vehicle in the parade's route, but we do have this year transcription services in a WhatsApp group and I actually have 90% of the speeches and songs right now in my email to help with that. That's a big progress.
Also, I should be sleeping.
Happy Birthday, Shir--or belated Happy Birthday, whichever's appropriate.
I hope Pride goes well.
Happy Birthday, Shir!
And Happy Pride! Sounds like you've done a lot of work prepping. I hope things go smoothly (and you remember to pause now and then and enjoy yourself!)
That's awesome, Shir. These days in the US Pride celebrations often seem somewhat over, like a party for straight people the same way Cinco de Mayo has become one. But it's so important to remember other places face many more struggles. Best of luck.
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Shir!
Speedy recovery, Gud.
Today is Gary and my anniversary, so when he gets home, we're all going out to dinner.
Happy Birthday, Shir!
Happy Anniversary, Sheryl!
Walking home from work right now, I came across a group of people, and I said to myself, "Why are all these people wearing tweed in 80% humidity?" and then I remembered that Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is filming in my neighborhood.
...have to go buy a car....
Me too.
Short story: morning commute traffic on the interstate last week, accident far ahead brought traffic to a standstill. Someone behind me didn't stop in time and I got shoved into the semi-trailer who was stopped ahead of me. Slow impact (perhaps 5 mph?) but it was enough to total my 2005 Kia Optima. No one was hurt. No damage to the semi-trailer or even its "bumper" -- which came *over* the top of my bumper, into my radiator and lights, failing to trigger the airbags. Take-away lesson: don't hit a semi-trailer from behind in a sedan, your airbags will likely not deploy, which at a higher speed could be very bad.
Yikes, dcp. I'm glad no one was hurt.
