Oh god, they're talking about a team summit where our global team would meet up. 4 days, probably 8-6 each day. Those would be...long days.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

A WORLD OF NO. When asked to suggest team-building activities for my group, mine was "Everyone leave early and engage in private self-reflection in their own home."
Theo, hope all goes smoothly for your friend.
And for lunch, we can do something fun! Like a lunch and learn!

Lol!
I have a huge case of don't wanna today. No particular reason. Just...meh. I should really drink my coffee, yeah?
I'm avoiding a call with my coworker so I can watch the end of Hoarders. So you're still ahead of me.

Yeah, that's going to be a hard no from me.
Congratulations on the job offer, husband of Dana (and Dana)! Less congratulations on the possible global team summit. ::shudders::
It's my day off, and I have a thousand things to do, but I'm sitting here wrestling with making a playlist in the VLC media player because I'm also waiting for the mechanic to call about the car (which popped a ball joint and made the tire sort of fall off yesterday). Mostly waiting to hear how much $$ it's going to be. Someone hold me.
Who are the people who actually think team-building exercises improve employee morale and productivity? I've never heard of anyone on the receiving end who didn't dread them.
I hope the carfix is easier than anticipated.
Apparently team-building was something that happened after I left the corporate world. Here team building is more like deciding to take a break and go out to lunch or watch some tv.

They probably saw something tyhe Japanese were doing and decided to give it an American *twist*! Said with the perky head tilt and grin familiar from commercials.
