Happy birthday, JZ!

It is also a local friend's birthday today and he has requested us to join him at a restaurant and dress "dandy". I'm looking at my closet and I don't think I have anything appropriate???

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Do you have a shirt with a breast pocket, and anything you can put in it? I feel like any kind of pocket square situation gets you there.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I can easily picture you dressing "dandy" meara, so that is hard to believe. Maybe "swanky" would be close enough?

Gloves and a jacket would do, right? Jesse might be right about the pocket square. Can you make a scarf ascot-esque?

Me as I'm jumping between tasks at work: I don't feel like my ADHD meds are working today. But at least I took them. Wait, did I take them? [checks Kaiser app] Oops. Well, that explains that.

Sigh.

I agree with this as well.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

We have a mouse in the office. One woman - who's not here today - has an actual phobia about mice. The rest of the office - they're acting like it's ... well scorpion in the shower is the best comparison. I really don't care that much - I'll avoid it if it avoids me. It's SUPPOSEDLY sealed into an office (with a good supply of food, since it's someone who likes to keep a stash) so maybe it'll still be there when the exterminator come. Maybe.

Gloves (unless it's too warm)? a cane? a hat?
