Huh. I just taught the Information Systems Manager how to get subtotals where you want them in Excel. Weird.

I'm sorry shrift.
I'm so sorry, shrift.
I'm so sorry, shrift.
-t, I have worked with dozens of developers who can do, as far as I can tell, MAGIC with code, and yet are helpless babies when it comes to Excel. It baffles me.
Interesting, Jess.
I'm so sorry shrift.
I'm so sorry, shrift.
Wow, Karl- that is scary.
I am so sorry, shrift.
Everyone is so impressed I know how to make excel do things with words. I am way better with words than math, and I do a lot of mailings so it doesn't seem shocking.
I am doing my mandatory in-service right now and it is so awful. First- the questions have been the same for 15 years. Second- although I technically work in the medical center, I work in a whole separate building and there are no patients. I do not need to know how to dispose of sharps, prevent falls, the signs of stroke, and how you are supposed to make a chalk mark on the door when you evacuate a patient. Third- the test questions are so DUMB! You can totally answer them because they are multiple choice, and basically have three ridiculous answers and the right answer. and you have unlimited attempts. I don't think this is actually providing any meaningful learning for anyone!
shrift, I am very sorry.

Never mind meaningful learning, this takes dedication. I'm in awe.
