These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

Our wings are not tired.

I heard thunder after I had my swimsuit on. Today? Getting ready to try out the hotel pool? I hear thunder.

With the summer storm pattern I have been doing a lot of swimming in the rain. Lots of thunder all around me. For me it is refreshing and cooler than without rain! As long as it isn't pouring where I can't see I am out there.

Happy Father's Day to the Buffista dads.

DH is working on painting the boat and he has some torturous programming to do. Torture because he isn't a programmer and we don't have anyone right now to do what we need done. We do have an afternoon outing with the kids and Tate's parents later. Bowling then going to a German restaurant so schnitzel and beer can be consumed by those into it and I scoped out the menu and they have a berry filled salad with fish on top that works for me.

I desperately need to weed my yard. I've been putting it off.

Later I get a haircut! And then am deciding if maybe I'll go see Oceans 8!by myself.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Late to the party, but Sophia, I would argue that it is not a transfer, it is a promotion, and the salary for that job is commensurate with the market. If you were applying off the street, you would get the salary, so there is no reason for them not to give it to you. Not to mention the money that they save by using an internal hire.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Happy Father's Day, Buffista dad's, especially Gud. And all Buffista single moms doing double duty!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Did a rather longer run than I planned -- I missed my turn in the woods. So, 6.6 miles instead of 5. But whatever. Except now it's 11:30 and I haven't done anything today (except run). Hmmm.

Happy Father's Day to all the Buffista dads and dad-figures.

Coding and Sleeping

Thanks. Looks like my Father's Day treat will be deciding what I'm fixing for dinner. Once I get the laundry started, I'm off to the grocery store to pick up supplies.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ugh. Being out in the wind all yesterday afternoon really did a number on my sinuses. Or something did. Alla y'all are getting lots more done than me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I honestly feel like my biggest accomplishment of the weekend was trimming my toenails without chipping my pedicure. (The woman who did them the other week really didn't want to cut them, but she was wrong!)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I washed windows today. My only other accomplishment is that, for the first time ever, I was able to hold my hair in a bun with a stick. I fear the only reason it worked this time is because I haven't washed my hair today.
