I kinda feel like lashing out physically when getting picked up involuntarily is a good instinct. Which is probably not helpful. Sorry.
Agreed! Also, trust me on this, they have seen worse.
eta: agreed that getting picked up involuntarily should elicit a response!
Time for a National Advisory Program session, Jesse.
Yeah, that was the general consensus.
Hmmm, 'quit' not 'quite' Or even 'quiet' as I tried to write the first time. May be possible I'm a little more tired than I thought.
We've got rising tensions with Canada, Puerto Rico is still a disaster, kids are being taken away from parents at the border even for asylum seekers, the federal deficit is blowing up, financial regulations are being rolled back as housing prices are starting to soar, there's talk of easing regulations on asbestos, and so on and so on. There's still two and a half years left in Trump's first term.
Timelies all!
Been a real Monday. They're doing construction in my building at work, so I had to take a detour to get to my lab. Then, there was a large table on its side in front of a cabinet of reagents I needed, which fell on my shin and foot, scraping a good bit of skin off my shin. Feh.
Calling it quiet sounds pretty good to me right now.
Scraped shin does not. Ouch!
I slept poorly, so I stayed in bed until 730 and then took the dog for a run. Strolled into the office at 10:30. All Mondays should be like that.
Tomorrow is the parade for the Warriors winning the NBA championship, which means over a million people will be in downtown oakland. I shall have to remember to pack a lunch...
Consuela, I was just reading about Minot's Ledge Lighthouse, and realized that it may be one of the lighthouses that your office worked on selling?
I want to pick up a new tv show to binge 1-2 eps a night of - not really sure of what I'm feeling like. Here's my current list of TBW shows (it's long) - comment thread on the doc should be open.
