Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

I'm sorry that your Dad doesn't appreciate you, Suzi. But please know that all the invisible people inside your computer think you are awesome.

Thanks ya'll. The thing is, with my dad, this is unusual. Our relationship has been a bunch better in recent years. So this feels out of character.

When Kelly and I were talking this evening she said that between family and found family, I will have my own cheering section. Knowing your voices are there too... I'm gonna have to pack some tissues. Somewhere under my gown. Would it be wrong to store some in my hood???

The feeling of knowing I don't have any homework looking over my head is kinda amazing.

When I graduated I went on a serious fiction reading binge. Because I could. It was spectacularly enjoyable. I missed being able to read just for the sake of reading.

ltc is going to be evaluated in a couple of weeks for any possible learning disabilities. Please someone reassure me that they're not going to see that she has a disabled parent and try to take her.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

sj, they will see what a great mom you are. Thatis all there is to it.

sj, ltc is blessed with an awesome mother and that will be abundantly clear to all. I'm so sorry that you have this anxiety.

Thanks, guys. This is always in the back of my mind. Also, they're coming to the house. So, the clean up reorganizing has to go back into high gear.

Oh my yes. I'm very much looking forward to catching up on reading. I have The Wedding Date and the Bone Universe at the top of my reading list.

sj, you are a loving mother. I can't see a situation where anything like that would happen. You got this.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ltc is so obviously well-cared for and happy. You've got this!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My dad goes into surgery in the next hour or so. Rotator cuff, three tears. He's 74 so any surgery is a thing. Recovery is gonna be a bear, despite his optimism. I'm going to talk to mom about possibly moving up their move schedule. There is zero reason they need to wait until January of 2020.
