Nice, Sophia. That sounds like an excellent cemetery tour.
Good that you are home, Sue. No doubt there is a very long list of things to catch up on that will keep you distracted for a while. I'm so sorry about your poor dad. I am sure he is at a complete loss.
I've adulted so hard today! Went to see the GI doc and scheduled my colonoscopy for next Tuesday. I like all the people at that office and they didn't even make me work on their systems. Also contacted one of my cardiologist customers to schedule another test so I can show my PCP how super diligent I am about my health. If I schedule my mammo too he might have palpitations from the excitement of me listening to him for a change.
The funeral was really nice. Having to shake the hand of everyone who attended, nsm.
Yeah, that sounds familiar. Glad you're home. Is there any way you can take another day?
Good for you, Laura!
The new sitter is here, and I have a list of things I should be doing. But a nap may win because it's cold and damp today and everything hurts. However, I made 5 onerous phone calls this morning. So still sort of productive.
5 onerous phone calls absolutely calls for a nap!
5 onerous calls is impressive!
I got tagged for a last minute work trip starting early Wednesday morning. I'm going straight from there to a personal weekend trip. I am now panicking I'm forgetting something I need to do. (So far on the list: get suit drycleaned (happening right now), do laundry, get meds refilled.
Pats on the back and gold stars here. I went to GI doc this morning and made appt for colonoscopy on Tuesday next week. Made appt for breast squishing Monday, and tomorrow I see the cardiologist for a calcium score test. Sent an email to my PCP letting him know that I am a super good girl. The subject for the email was 'All the testing because I listen to my doctor', which will result in him laughing like a loon.
It's my birthday. To celebrate, I went to the doctor and got poked with two needles. The shots don't seem to be doing anything to stop the migraine, unfortunately, which means that tomorrow I guess I'll go to the ER.
I am obviously rescheduling my birthday. Also, this weekend is my parents' anniversary, and I refuse to be sick for that.
Glad you're home, Sue.
Dana I hope you have a happy birthday in the near future.
Things from rehearsal reports that make you go hmm: "Could we please have a couple backup Emancipation Proclamations?"
Is there any way you can take another day?
I think I am going to take tomorrow off.
I have plenty of leave. I have five days of bereavement leave, and I may try to argue to use my family illness leave for taking care of my dad. Fortunately I have a ridiculous amount of vacation, (5 weeks this year and I have 5 more banked) so whatever happens I am fine.
Good, good. One of my staff just had to take off suddenly again for family care, and I'm just glad we get so much vacation. I mean, I'm sure she'd rather do something fun, but at least she's getting paid.
