I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Theo, ugh.

Which reminds me that I was dreaming about Jeremy Renner this morning, and I woke up right before I was worried he was going to be kind of a dick. Which was good, since I didn't have to have my dream illusions shattered.

Ugh. I am on an Employee Assistance Program seminar that is full of bullshit pseudoscience. I do not expect or want that from a company that is based on science and medicine!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Days without classes or grandparent visits and a still sort of sick kid are very long. How is it not 6:00 yet?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Did I mention here the not-quite-a-nightmare I had where Trump showed up at my aunt's funeral and I had to be polite to him?

One of my coworkers had a nightmare that Jared Kushner showed up for his reunion last weekend! (He didn't.) (But also: [link] )

That which does not kill you should RUN

Y'all, we just had crazy high winds come through that brought down trees and power lines in various areas. My street seems fine, EXCEPT -- the gutter and some siding got torn off the house across the street from us. Yikes!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh Dana, that's a lot of "uh-huh"

Two hours, 43 minutes. And husband called and I had to put him off with the hope that I'll be able to call him back at SOME POINT on his one-hour drive to the airport.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration
