Go team turtle!
I opted to not go on the tour because a couple of us needed to stay behind to make sure nothing goes wrong with the launch.

I had a co-worker stop me in the hall to tell me how much she was enjoying my book which it sounds like she is reading to her kid at bedtime. The felt kinda awesome.
That is awesome, Gud.
Much less awesome for Dana's husband, ltc, and -t's workplace!
I have a lunch meeting at 1 and I did have a snack, but I'm still afraid I might die of hunger before I get there.
Husband called briefly. He sounds okay. Probably helps that the first interviews were with lower-level people. He was also able to suss out that the other two candidates don't have his exact combination of experience.
Instead of working, I am watching Yuri on Ice and eating turkey bacon and guac.
Glad to hear your husband is doing okay. Poor guy sounds like he's having a rough day.
That is awesome, Gud!
Sending ~ma, Dana.
I have a lunch at 11 - my first solid food since Sunday so I am a little anxious but I think it will be ok. I have planned easy to digest things I can order.
A project I starting working on in 2008 finally came to completion this week, and one of the supervisors brought in a cake to celebrate. I cracked that only Nemesis and I should get any, because we're the only ones who worked on it.
I just had a lunch meeting that included someone who couldn't eat because of an upcoming medical thing. I felt so bad for her! They didn't even have any broth they could give her.
Your poor husband, Dana! There seems to be a lot of food poisoning going around.
My coworker is just going to talk at me for hours in this meeting. It's like being on the phone with an Aged Parent. Every once in a while, I say "uh-huh" or "yeah".
