My weekend was going to PDX with two dear friends for fancy vampire hijinks! And one of our other local friends wandered around with us and joined us for the event. I had a new set of custom fangs made, I elaborately dressed up, saw pretty people, and had a marvelous time.

I'm glad it was peaceful, Scrappy. It helps me to know there's no more pain or distress for my beloved pet.
My aunt's farewell service is this weekend, and I'm realizing I've got like a bunch of major things to get done, including figuring out where I'm staying -- No offers of a place to crash has come from either brother, so. Making it a one-day trip really isn't possible, since it's about a 5 hour trip on average, and even if I'm used to driving a whole lot, a double marathon of it is not a good idea.
Did I mention I hate making reservations?

One of my kitchen counters has that distinction. Seriously, I have this fantasy of a place for everything and everything in its place, but it ain't happening this lifetime. Unless I talk DH into living on a boat!
I went and had more blood drawn today. Lab said they didn't get enough last week to do everything Doc ordered so I went back on Friday and the tech couldn't get anything out of my arm so we decided to try again today since it wasn't like I'm even sick or anything.
