I seen you without your clothes on before. Never thought I'd see you naked.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The fire alarm went off at 3am this morning, and our floor and the one below were evacuated. Ugh.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh yuck, Sheryl. No fun. No fire I hope!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Man, Pack Up & Go sounds like torture to me. I've done last-minute impulsive trips before, but I'm way too much of a control freak to let someone else do all the planning and surprise me. (The last major trip I took, I showed up at the travel agent's with a spreadsheet of flights and hotel rates, and the agent couldn't match what I'd already researched much less underbid it.)

Serves you right if =all= the Packupandgo trips are actually to Peoria. I mean, as long as they put the people in different hotels, who would know?

I do the same thing, Matt, but the notion of just delegating it and going with the flow is really appealing.

I never posted an update, but Mac got the job he interviewed for the other day. He's done some onboarding stuff online and tonight he got called in to "get into the system" his worlds. He did not dressin the clothes he has for the job. He wore a rap concert t-shirt with holes. I told him he should dress for work, that they might mean to do some training, also that it's only the second time he is seeing the boss and he should dress like it. Nope, would not change.

Now he has been in there a half hour and I'm betting he is actually getting trained and I'm stuck here.

I got ambushed by another Attack Nap, which makes waking up when it's 7:01 on the digital clock and quite light a little perplexing for a few minutes. Happily, I did not oversleep on a Monday morning.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good for Mac!

Yay! I still can't get my son to dress decently for work. You'll be shocked to know that he assumes since he is so brilliant they won't care how he dresses. Sob. He's working. I'll take that as a win.
