Oh, Pride in Jlm (and anywhere that isn't Tel Aviv) is very political. It's a protest, hardly a celebration. I mean, people are still trying to hurt and kill some of the participents once every few years, and the stink bombs are a tradition by now, so there's still a way to go. My main task will be trying to convince the police to allow a van for people with mobility issues to join the march (no vechiles are allowed). And finding the money for it. I won't mind commercialization to this end...

Go, Shir!
I have turned several boxes and bags of paper into one large bag of paper that still needs to be dealt with but is an improvement. And I think I'm done for the day because my back is protesting. Off to take a shower before ltc gets home. Also I need someone to send me some gold stars.
I'm in awe and GO SHIR of all of this!
Also, there's a 65 year old ultra orthodox man who is coming to these meetings, and while he won't join the march because of his family, he wants to be a part of the accessibility team.
Wow, that's amazing.
Go Shir!
Good job, sj!
Thank you all. And gold stars to sj!
Shir, that's wonderful! And congrats!
sj, gold star! Cleaning is hard.
I have the same problems with cleaning and asthma and clutter. Next week I'm getting an estimate on new carpet for upstairs, so this weekend I have to clean. It'll be miserable
Cat is on me help
I have to spend the weekend puttering around the apartment. I've got clothes scattered all over and a kitchen floor to clean. Time to put Phryne Fisher on the TV while I work.
Ever notice how painful it is NOT to say to your boss' boss, "If you would just do it right the first time, the process wouldn't be such a long one."? Just me?
Thanks, guys. I needed that more than you know.
