For those of you who didn't read my comment on Jesse's picture on FB, when I saw the picture I seriously slapped my hands to my face like the kid in Home Alone and shrieked. I have zero chill, even when it comes to photos of other people.

I just finished most of the registration and interviews and tests to graduate school (it was delayed for two years - first because of Summer of Family and Friends Health and Death Problems, and then because getting one's life back in track + switching jobs after such summer takes almost a year, as I've learned.)
I'm both relieved and excited, but I learned not to expect anything for certain even if I meet all of the criteria, just give it my best and see what happens.

Go Shir!! I certainly get how life gets in the way of progress on the school front. It took me 16 years to get my degree and still have graduate school on the list.
