Yeah, they hire us so there's only so much pushback we can give.
Tonight has been the weirdest. Wtf universe. After months and months and months of nothing, tonight, when I have a sex friend flying in from Canada, tonight you decide to throw a hottie at me who walks up and remembers me from like 8 years ago and introduces herself and (a bit later) kisses me?!? Wtf. And then Canada's connecting flight gets canceled?
woke up to the outside corner of one eye feeling bruised and that eye a bit swollen. no clue.
Kittens are at that size/age now where they are full on BONKERS. only 2 of the 5 are eating mostly from the bottle, so the others cry at this point only to get out of the kennel and play.
My poor cousin -- not did her Mom die last week, but her only child's graduation is today (rain predicted), so she's sheparding her bereaved and increasingly forgetful 89yo father around to it, but her FiL fell and broke his hip two days ago.
I'm exhausted just typing it out.

Wtf = Who To Fuck in this instance, I gather.
Lol, I basically felt like the universe was laughing at me...
I made it through the wedding on TiVo, now to shower and get dressed for a memorial service.
well, shower, get the kittens another feeding, then dress.
I made it to the office, but am still full of Don't Wanna! I didn't time my self-bribe right: got near the office and had the burger, and now all that's left is the satisfaction of doing my work. Is that a thing????
Huh, I had no idea there was a big wedding today.
I did find out that Blank Panther is now available at RedBox. I need to rent a disc to rip before it's gone. (I know I shouldn't really rip rental DVDs, but by the time I have time to watch it it won't be at RedBox anymore.)
The mother of the bride and I went to see the wedding at the movie theater! 3-1/2 hours of big screen pageantry. I'm glad she suggested it because we had a lot of fun mocking and oohing and ahhing throughout. Only maybe 10 people in the audience, but a couple of elderly ladies wore tiaras and gloves! We have yet to decide what we are wearing but we will coordinate so as not to be clashing.
This weekend is mostly going to be work-work which I know is going to frustrate my wife because she has a long list of things she wants me to do for her business. My daughter told me her car radio is cutting out again which makes me think the problem may be the head unit itself and that will be a pain, but I need to triage that to next weekend. I also need to do some weed-whacking and service the lawn tractor, but that will probably not make the cut this weekend. I have managed to put away four loads of laundry and have one in the dryer and one in the wash. I also did a load of dishes and cooked some lunch. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to go to the grocery store before making dinner since I don't really have anything for a side.
