I am at the What's the point, Republicans will never impeach him? point with the Mueller investigation.

Yeah, he won't be impeached, but it would be nice to find out what happened. Even if not all the Russian meddling can be stopped, at least people would be aware of how they might be being manipulated.

Also, it could be helpful for things to come out before 2020. Unless the economy tanks, Trump will not be easy to defeat.

Last night I ordered a 70 fucking dollar 5 type-II gallon gas can because I'm getting really tired of my gas cans failing. This had better be an awesome gas can.

Also, I went out to run codes on my daughter's car (she got it from the grandparents so we know its history and it has had a persistent check engine light that they were told only a Honda dealership [at considerable cost] could deactivate even though the repair was made) last night and there was no check engine light and indeed no codes. Apparently it went off when I disconnected the battery to install the new audio headunit and never came back on. We'll see if it stays off. I never really believed their mechanic about only Honda being able to clear the light.

I know it's important for Mueller to have an airtight case, but I still wish he would pick up the pace.

I want him to reach the inevitable conclusion of collusion, treason, and felonious misconduct for both 45 and Vice 45 on January 31, 2019. And I want a Democrat majority Congress to run with that, put both in prison, and drop Nancy Pelosi in the White House. I want to watch the alt-Right go ape s*** over it. And I want Paul Ryan to sit in his home in Wisconsin, watching the whole thing on tv, knowing that he was within days of being able to call himself President Ryan, and now that will never, ever happen.

Let Mueller slow-walk this as much as he wants. If we can ride the anti-45 backlash to Democratic majorities in both houses in November (not at all inconceivable), justice will be served as cold and delicious as a pint of Ben and Jerry's.

I think it likely that Vice 45, as a late-comer to the campaign, kept well clear of the crooked stuff with an eye toward filling in as President after a forced resignation or impeachment. That would still be a marked improvement for the country as a whole, though horrible for my specific minority and related ones.

Pence, for all of being evil, understands the political process.
