Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The origins of the term kakistocracy are pretty neat: [link]

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I could not remember id Sudafed made me sleepy or wired. Looks like sleepy. Afternoon long nap achieved, I guess.

I've downloaded podcasts, have a pile of books, packed the clothes and shoes; toiletries won't go in until after I use them in the morning. Then hopping on a west coast bound plane to see my favorite twins.

Checked my work email to make sure my auto reply was set up right and discovered one of the teams did exactly what I've told them NOT to do for the past year. Delivery at 5:20 on a Friday? IT.IS.NOT.GOING.TO.HAPPEN. I'm spitefully glad they're gonna be thwarted.

I'm brimming with spite, though. Gotta remember to pack the tampons.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Khaki-toastocracy? Taquito-ocracy?

What is even happening?

There's a Buffy kaki toast joke, just dying for validation.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My in-laws leave tomorrow, which I think is good, in the interests of no one killing each other.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ugh. Just watched a procedural where kids are kidnapped and the one that didn't survive had the same name as ltc. Not the Saturday night escapist TV I was hoping for.

Coding and Sleeping

I never like it when kids or dogs don't make it.

Yeah, neither do I, but it's a lot harder to watch those types of shows now that I'm a parent than it was before.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

OK, totally memfaulting, but what is the name of the cute (I think) Mary Janes that come in different patterns like space, cats, other awesome things?

Anyone?
