I love Monty Don, on Big Dreams! He's so supportive and enthusiastic, even when he thinks the garden owners are complete loons. Alan Titchmarsh has a new show too, Love Your Garden.
I could never get into British baking shows. But English garden shows? All over it. It's the Bob Ross of television.
Conversations with my coworker are even more irritating this early in the morning. Especially when she's being pathetic about how late she was up working.
I see your co-worker subscribes to the same philosophy as one of mine. She does have a lot of work that she gets done (and well), but if working late actually bothered her as much as the whining indicates she could cut out about three hours of personal errands and calls per day and be home in the early evening. (Mind you, I don't begrudge anyone breaking their schedule up for work/life balance; it's probably healthier than my own tunnel vision focus approach. I just get annoyed when people try to milk the results of their own choices for sympathy.)
Adorable animals, including one that might be of particular interest to us:

OMG I have too much to do and not enough desire to do any of it.
Same. Nothing I have to do is that important, though. For work, anyway, and I can't do my home housekeeping stuff while I'm at work, so.
Had my performance review, and the suspense is over, I do get a raise! So that's nice. Really need to get my budget in order.
Yay, -t!
OMG I have too much to do and not enough desire to do any of it.
Hard same.
I've been forcing myself to get things done all day, but once 5 o'clock hits I'm DONEZO.
I'm barely succeeding in forcing myself, but somehow, some things are getting done.
I'm updating a spreadsheet template with data validation and counting down to 5pm when the beer and burritos will be served (we do a First Thursday happy hour every month).
