All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Gud, are you around? Do your kids know a Ray-Pec kid named Lance Hays? Do you know what happened to him? Vaguebook is being vague and it seems really inappropriate to ask.

information libertarian

It turned out that the friend who mr. flea helped move ran out of space in his pod and gave us a fairly nice patio set and a bicycle that fits Casper, so I guess karma actually works and I should have griped less.

Also, I had a story in my head and tried to start writing it up and MAN creative writing is a muscle I have not exercised in literally decades and it is going to take a lot of practice before I am not embarassingly bad at it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The shelter contacted me. They have 5, 4-week old kittens they need a foster for. We are about to have KITTEHS!

They'll come in a big kennel and I'll spilt them into the dog kennel we have to give them more space and keep them from getting into everything. I think limited time out of the kennel to be held 1-2 at a time will be my evenings for the next 2 weeks. Meep

KITTENS!!! I am so jealous. I need to follow up on getting Moar Kittehs.

Yay nice stuff, flea!

It is supposed to be so nice here this week...through Thursday. As soon as the weekend hits, back to rainy and 50s. Grr.

For those in need of virtual kittens, Tiny Kittens has three momma cats who have just given birth. There are 10+ kittens, all still at the eat/sleep/cry stage and the mom cats pretty much feed whichever kitten is around. Very cute.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Someone asked on my local Nextdoor about how to get kittens the other week, and everyone's answer was, "just wait." Heh.

In human baby news, I just dove into some coworkers' conversations, because Kate Middleton had the baby! And has already left the hospital! And looked stunning.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I just had a "Tartlets? Tartlets. The word has lost all meaning" moment.

I was looking for a song with "green"in the title and so I searched on that in my iTunes and suddenly confronted with rows of the word "Green" it looked impossibly wrong.

My brain was all, "What? How can a word with two "ee"s in the middle be a color? That doesn't make any sense at all! GREEEEEEN. What? No. I reject it."

And I'm all, "Brain. [sigh] You've been spelling this word since you were five years old. That's how you spell it. Remember in second grade when you forgot how to spell "of" and kept writing "uv"? You're just having a little pattern glitch here."

David I often have that feeling with the word "from". From from from from--it sounds like a nonsense word, especially if you start pronouncing it to rhyme with romcom or something?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I have no funny word stories. Just trying to work and my foot is not happy with me. I've been in sneakers for almost 2 weeks and yes, there are times I've gone barefoot since I HATE wearing shoes in the house. Normally it is just awkward walking because the muscles in that foot have forgotten how to work or it can get hurt when I walk a bunch. But today, it has been yelling at me from the time I woke up. This has got to stop. I'm at the edge of tears over this.

Well, I've been on the edge of tears since talking with my dad yesterday. He called to tell me his wife's sister has passed away from brain cancer. I knew she was sick and that this was an eventuality, but it is always sudden.

Then he said he hadn't bought tickets to come out for my graduation yet. He wasn't sure if he would be able to make the trip. First he didn't come out for Kelly's wedding and now this? I don't know what is going on. And it hurts.

Dang, I'm just a jangle of nerves. I wanna run away from all of this. Not that I can even walk across a room right now.
