Things you learn in medical editing: there is an ophthalmic condition called "progressive outer retinal necrosis", and clinicians do indeed abbreviate it "PORN". (Even though I wanted to leave it in the article, I had to delete it, because it wasn't used a second time, and we only leave abbreviations in if they're used more than 5 times.)

Have you ever before had to make an edit because a submitted article just didn't have enough PORN?

Timelies all!

I took today off because it's my birthday. I booked myself a massage and deluxe pedicure at a day spa. Too bad Mr. S has been a pain in the butt today, both in getting him to school, and picking him up from school(he took off in the parking lot, and ran almost to the front of the lot.). Any benefit I got from the massage is gone.
