Jayne: Captain, can you stop her from bein' cheerful, please? Mal: I don't believe there is a power in the 'verse that can stop Kaylee from being cheerful. Sometimes you just wanna duct tape her mouth and dump her in the hold for a month.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

ION, if you don't normally check out Flickr! you should because Tom, aurelia, and billytea all have lovely lovely pictures added recently. Caught up checking them out this morning.

Holy hell, that was quick. I put them up about half an hour ago. I will have more to say about this later (when it's not bedtime), but last week the family Tea took a holiday to the Gold Coast (currently hosting the Commonwealth Games, and wasn't that a surprise for us). We visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, and guess which animal encounter we chose?

Our wings are not tired.

I get email notifications when my peeps put pictures up there! Your son is getting so grown up and handsome.

You know that's not actually him I'm hugging, right?

Incidentally, I've just started watching The Good Place this week too! My library has finally got it in. Biyi's enjoying it too.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Well, *something* is sprung, anyway.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I ran to flickr to check out the new stuff, and checked the folk I'm following. Just out of morbid curiosity I checked Ginger's account. It was the pictures she'd collected from everyone of ita.

Billytea's photos are a happy antidote, though. I'll have to go back and check out Tom's and aurelia's.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thanks, Laura! If anyone missed the links I posted on FB, here they are. Rarotonga [link] and Aitutaki [link]

Just shoveled out my garage. Actually shoveled. I think there was enough dirt in there to half fill a tire sandbox. I have no idea where it came from. Previous inhabitants dumped plants in there? And now it's all in my driveway & will hopefully eventually wash away.

I've got to back to the auto parts store, I grabbed the wrong rear wiper assembly. Uhg. And I'm not sure they had the right one.
