So hive mind, I am in charge of wine and champagne for the wedding in July. Should I do this with a local booze place, or mail order? Costco? Any suggestions welcome. I think there are going to be a lot more beer drinkers than wine and the kids are getting a keg, but champagne should happen for toasts. Her parents already arranged the food. I'm thinking the day will be here sooner than anticipated.
I like to buy local. If you are buying for a wedding, you are probably buying in bulk, and your local guys can get you a good deal. That said, don't sleep on Kirkland brand booze. Always acceptable quality, and often better than your average name brand.
Yeah, we're using the Kirkland bubbly for our post-ceremony toast
Beloveds, sending all the hair pats, hugs, ~ma I can. You are precious to my heart. I love your successes and the weird things you think about.
My anxiety has ramped up over the last few weeks, culminating in having an anxiety attack at work, aimed at employee and in front of people supported. So I emailed my primary care NP to discuss upping the Lexapro dose.
I *love* my tiny local liquor store, so heartily second/third/fourth that recommendation if you can swing it. You can probably even just call them and have a couple of cases ready to be picked up.
It's an aggressively spring morning, super happy people breaking out shorts and sundresses and happily greeting total strangers....and having morning sex in front of newly opened windows as neighbors sit on their porches & exchange sheepish glances.
Thank you for the suggestions. I am investigating a couple paths. One of the places I found from -t's link was a West Palm Beach brewery that had a news article yesterday supporting Dreamers and DACA. Supporting companies that speak up is on my list too. [link]
The more I think about the spritzer bar the more I love it. July in FL is stupid hot and hydration can be an issue.
{{{WindSparrow}}} I'm sorry, hon.
I need to run to whatever store is open where I can get flop flops and nail polish remover (the bottle I've had tucked away for years seems not work any more - can that stuff expire?), hit the gym, paint my nails and get to Rakkasah by 11 so we can see how big the stage is. Whee!
Wow sarameg! Spring indeed!
{{WindSparrow}} You have so much on your plate and do so much for so many. I hope you are able to get some rest and renewal time this weekend.
People!! After a very long wait I finally started watching The Good Place. It has been a desire for a long time, but I knew DH would love it so I waited. Last night while he was cooking dinner I cued it up on Netflix and left it paused and gave him no choice. 4 episodes later I had to call it a night, but no doubt will watch more today. Whee! So much nicer than watching the news. I have to break him of that habit!
