I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Paul Ryan fleeing sinking ship.

HA HA HA what a shitty little weasel. If by some horrible chance they hold onto the majority, I hope they have another round of hot potato with the speakership.

Oh see my shocked face, Paul Ryan fleeing sinking ship.

Wow, that's interesting. Speaker of the house is the new Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher.

The White House states a lot of things.

That definitely true. I think it could signal he might fire Mueller directly which would end up in the courts since it is sort of unsettled law. If there isn't an injunction to keep Mueller in place then the whitehouse could slow-walk things for a long time keeping things frozen. I don't think the odds of avoiding an injunction would be pretty low, though.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Speaker of the house is the new Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher

This works on just about every possible level. 50 points to Gryffindor!

Because books.

I miss the days when I didn't know any of this and didn't need to.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

He doesn't have the authority to run the presidency as a for-profit venture either, and yet.

Right? This is what worries me.

It is a redo of the 80s big belt with big shirt/ stirrup pants.

Oh, that makes sense. I haven't seen it like that, though, it's regular fitted shirts or t-shirts with jeans.

I have just accepted that I'll be tired and crabby most of the time, really.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

I would like Paul Ryan to explode like a Spinal Tap drummer, actually.

I did the Willow-changing-sweaters thing this morning and I'm not even going to the funeral. I'm glad I have you people to get that reference. Also want to say that my favorite thing about Anya in The Body is all her questions that sound snarky are really just her not knowing and wanting to not fuck up. So relatable.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

If you're on hold with the DMV, and no one ever picks up, are you actually in hell, or are you just waiting to enter into hell?

The not knowing whether you are in hell or not is part of being in hell.

Or is it?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Someone did eventually did pick up (after about 20 minutes) and was actually super-helpful, and I don't have to go to an office to renew. Woot.

Ugh, the DMV. Don't get me started.
