Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Shit, I've barely had that.

I offered someone a job on Friday, she accepted on Monday and just backed out. And I already turned against the other option. Ugggghhhhh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Bummer!

By "a half day's work" I really mean " a half day's worth of trying to spend some time working". Just totally over it now.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yeah, I *will* crawl over broken glass if I have to, but if I can be a jerk and crawl over some other person who's already down there, I'll do it in a hot second.

Steph, this is *exactly* what I was about to post. I'd rather knock a Trumpet out and crawl over *them*.

Trump can't directly fire Mueller, he has to get the Attorney General to do it. Since Sessions is famously recused, he'd have to get the Deputy AG to do it. That's Rosenstein and he'd probably quit first. Then he'd have to get the Associate Attorney General to do it. Since Rachel Brand quit, that's [looks it up] Pannuchio? I don't know what he'd do. But that is, if I understand correctly, what Nixon's Saturday Night Massacre was: he went through the people in the AG's office until he got to someone willing to do the job.

I doubt Trump fully understands this.

Oh, what a pain! When you say "turned against", you mean you decided you don't like the second choice candidate?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Rosenstein signing the Cohen warrant may well indicate how he'll behave if Trump tells him to fire Mueller. Trump simply has never met a problem that he couldn't sue or pay off his way out of, so no wonder he's sticking to the idea that if he just fires enough people, the problem will be put off until people forget about it.

Elsewhere a friend pointed out that it's a state investigation into Cohen now, so Trump can't even pardon him if it came to that. Heh heh.

MsBelle, I'd be up for a friendhouse arrangement. I'd rather Tucson, if we are considering places.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Apparently the White House is asserting they do have the authority to fire him.

That sounds like something the White House would assert.

Good ole Sarah Sanders.

The sad part is, it's very possible no one will tell them any different.
