I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sail, this world is a sadder, poorer place without your father. I'm sorry for your loss.

billytea, congratulations, Missy.

All the best luck, David.

msbelle, I'm sorrry that things are so rough with your son.

I came home ugly, howling crying after holding it in all day at work. I went to a training meeting this morning that covered some things that I needed to know how to do two days ago, with regard to the process of turning someone into an actual employee after deciding to hire them and then beginning training. So I spent two days attempting to get "Day One" training done with the first of three people that I need to hire right away, done bass ackwardly. Poor new person. I hope she does not hate me or feel like I am setting her up to fail. (And I totally forgot to offer this Muslim woman a break to pray. She didn't ask, either. I don't know if we both forgot because we were so absorbed in what we were doing, or if she is not comfortable enough to ask.)

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Sail, I'm so sorry for your loss. He sounds like a wonderful person, and I'm so glad you had him for a father.

msbelle, it's so freaking hard, and I'm sorry. It shouldn't have to be this hard.

Sail, I am sorry for your loss. Peace to you and yours.

Msbelle, that has to be really difficult. I'm sorry.

My daughter had a bad dream at 4:00 am, so I have been answering emails. I can't wait to find out what I wrote/promised/insulted in my semi-awake state!

Sail, I'm so sorry about your father.

msbelle, I wish things with mac weren't so hard, especially around the holidays.

Windsparrow, I hope you start getting the training you need for this job before you actually need it.

Oh Sail, I'm so sorry.
