My work started this "Theme Wall" last year where we are encouraged to put up something signifying our theme for the year, whatever that may be. They are just getting around to doing it again for this year. I couldn't think of a theme last year, and this year I think mine would have to be along the lines of "Behold my field of fucks, see how barren it lies" preferably in cross-stitch, but that's gotta be NSFW

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I was considering that, Bev! I think people would just be confused. Which might be acceptable, I'll have to think about it.
Maybe a picture pf an empty pond with a "No ducks given" caption. Hm.
Each person has to have their own theme for work for the year? That's ridiculous. Even when I like my job, if they asked me that, I would have to put the destroying-the-printer scene from Office Space. Or similar.
Speaking of ridiculous, a bunch of my friends work in a certain field, and also one of their roommates is the reporter for that field for the local paper. (Not sure why I feel like I should be circumspect here, but I do!) So when one friend is reading in the paper about how maybe she's going to lose her job, it's the other friend's roommate who wrote the story! That just feels awkward.
We don't have to, it's encouraged. Supposed to be empowering or something. I didn't do it last year.
Oh my, that does sound awkward!
Timelies all!
Again, I am reminded of the benefits of not working in an office. Actually, I don't think I've ever had an office job.
I'm barely awake from 9am to 11pm, much less working that entire stretch.
I work days like this or longer more often that I should probably admit.
I am so full of don'wanna about work. In general, but moreso today. I feel productive, and that I want to Get Things Done! Just not work things.
