I have no Easter candy. I didn't get any this year. BUT, I met with the head trainer where I work out to have a strategy meeting this afternoon and she wants me to eat more. More specifically to always eat before my 7:30 AM workout, which I do anyway, and to absolutely always eat within 45 min after, which I never do. We talked for almost an hour and decided that the eat every hour or two just a little bit works best for me. I've done that before and it does work, just requires some planning. And more protein, blah blah, tough for a non-meat eater stuff. Less workouts, sniff, because I am going to injure myself. 4 a week instead of 5. So something else like swimming or beach walking the off days. A plan.

I love it when my boss gives me task to do with a project that I have not been involved with at all. And then only gives me like 1/3 of the info I need to do the task, and I find out that I am missing info all throughout the process, so I don't even know what to ask him for until I hit another roadblock.
Yeah, that sounds great.
Almost as good, I cannot connect to our ERP, or run excel, or run reports on our propreitary information suite. So I'm real productive.
Msbelle, that is also me wrt to eating and spending.
Matt, continued ~ma for your dad.
We drove back from Mom's in the snow today. No fun, and of course everyone was driving like an idiot.
Someone just said to me, "I didn't get back to you because it's not black and white." You know what? That's the kind of shit I would do! Avoiding things that are complicated! But the person saying it to me has been here forever and is highly respected!
So that made me feel good for whatever reason.
No Easter candy, but someone brought a cheesecake to work today, so fancy elevenses were had.
ION, Matilda is headed full-tilt for puberty, complete with wildly see-sawing moods and copious tears and door-slamming and hugging so aggressive it leaves bruises, and it is exhausting. I'm not even bearing the brunt of it because Hec is usually the one who has to get her up and out in the mornings, but even the little bit that I'm dealing with has left me shattered. Hec is a big damn hero.
....and we're back.
I did not buy any Easter candy aside from what I gave mac in his basket. His basket, the actual basket will be a new silly spring purse for me. It is pink with a pink bunny peep on it. I loves it.
I did go out and buy bad for me food for lunch. Just entered the calories and thank goodness I'm still under 2000 for the day, but not under the 1500 max I should be at.
right, I should start daily entries on the accountability page on fb again.
My staff at work are not getting along. One of the older women who works there complains that most of the younger women do nothing. I admit that some of the younger women are not self-starters, but they never flat out refuse to do things I prompt them to do and they don't "forget" more often than the older women. When there are two staff on shift, and the staff know the work well, and know each other well, we often end up not really talking about who is going to do what; we just do it. But if you try to take that approach with someone who either is not a self-starter or who organizes tasks in their minds diffently than you do, it doesn't work. You have to talk to each other. I have said that to the older woman. Based on the way she "mmhmm"ed and rolled her eyes when I said it, together with the way the younger women do what I talk with them about, I believe that the older woman is taking the position that she prefers doing everything herself to initiating a conversation, then getting bitchy in front of the people we support when she feels the division of labor is not fair.
I don't know how to fix this.
