Matt, how's your dad?
They drained a liter of fluid out of his left lung yesterday afternoon, so he's sore but breathing more easily and his fever's down below 100°. I think the periodic morphine is keeping him in much better spirits than he was in before the procedure.
Dang, that has to make breathing easier. I've never had morphine, but my dad after he had nose surgery said it was the best stuff ever.
Jesse, that's awesome! I feel like random nights are so much less frequent as I get older.
Laura, yes, that's the thing—normally I dance with a bunch of folks where I'm one of the best dancers but then I go to this giant group and...oof.
Yeah, I'm thinking if it had been the lung on the non-paralyzed side that was that full, he'd have been in a LOT more pain previously. The right one was probably handling most of the workload.
How scary, Matt. Keeping the health and healing ~ma headed his way.
Holy crap, Matt. I hope he's on the mend.
In minor complaints, how come I had to actually watch Station 19 to learn that Okieriete Onaodowan is in it?????
twitter could have helped you there, Jesse. I haven't watched it and I know he's on it. Also he lifts someone.
He certainly does lift someone.
I've even been on twitter some lately.
Not only did I not know he was in it, I don't even know what Station 19 is.
