Ann, that's a ferret.

Steph, I had two ingrown toenails removed when I was in high school. Only thing I can add -- if you keep your foot propped up, it doesn't bleed.

In other words, today is the perfect day for Tim to bring you breakfast in bed.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I was unable to find matzo at the grocery today. I think I'm just going to cross my fingers and go questing on Thursday.

We must switch our groceries and supermarkets. By now most of the chametz is unavailable in most places here (shelves are covered), and I am a woman in a constant need of cookies. Heavens, it's only a week! I still officially have four more days of cookies.

I also now wonder at the possibility of a matzo/cookies teleporter, for times like this.

That's so interesting! I always think about my Israeli roommate in college who was aggressively secular -- she said living there was enough! Haha.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Super useful!

I ended up ordering some through Amazon Prime. Amazon is totally my version of Chidi's almond milk.

While there are certain aspects of Judaism-as-law which I enjoy (knowing that what I eat has no meat in it whatsoever because the restaurant is dairy, for example), some are harder to live by as a secular person (no public transportation on weekends. Taxis to and from my parents almost every weekend is expensive).

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

IT IS ALLYSON'S BIRTHDAY!!!

I remember when we didn't like each other, maybe we just didn't know each other. What a silly time.

Happiest of days to one of the bestest people I know.

Sweet, I just found out that our 9 hour days are actually going to be 9 hours long, not nine and a half like we were all assuming (our current 8 hour days are 8.5 because we are required to take a lunch even though we don't clock out) Everything's coming up -t.

Our wings are not tired.

Allyson Day!

I'm still annoyed because there was no aerial photography of the March here because Trump was in town which grounds the aircraft that use small airports.

My son has his first day of work for the huge corporate entity today. He has a full month of training before actually being placed at his station. My only advice was that when they train him to do something in 10 awkward steps and he knows it would be more efficient in 3 to just consider for a moment that with more than a couple hundred thousand employees all over the globe and 40 years experience they might know how they want things done. His response of course was that he would have a better way because he is always the best wherever he works. I chose to speak frankly and point out that the one thing he doesn't seem to excel at is keeping a job, so try just following instructions. Yes, my nice mom days are apparently over.
