might have found my new summer drink, lemon vodka in iced tea.
That sounds delicious, msbelle
So, question: Why can't I have that throughout the entire process of getting a tattoo instead of the last few minutes of it???
There's an actual reason, but I can't remember it. :: looks :: The main reasons are that some over-the-counter numbing creams can interfere with how the ink takes hold (as in, numbing cream driven into the skin with the ink and needle), and depending how long a tattoo takes, the effect of the numbing cream may wear off midway and you can't reapply it until the tattoo session is finished.
I might be going to Urgent Care or a Little Clinic tomorrow for this ingrown toenail. I'm kind of as bad as my dad at ignoring symptoms -- it's been hurting intermittently for, uh, maybe a couple of weeks? So tonight after consulting Dr. Google, I was going to put a piece of cotton with Neosporin under the ingrown edge to push it up and encourage it to GTFO. That part of the toe is too swollen for me to get cotton in there. And it was spectacularly painful. (Tim also wants me to note that it's red and warm to the touch.) (I know, I am terrible at taking care of myself.)
So. I guess I get to see my old friends at Urgent Care tomorrow. Won't they be surprised when it's not a 3-day migraine!
Oh boy, yes, that sound infected. I'm glad you are getting it taken care of, Steph.
....and they called her - Teppy Nine Toes.
Lol, msbelle I really like iced tea vodka in lemonade also.
Amy, surgery ~ma for your dad. Glad it's something easily fixed.
Scrappy, glad it was the best that could be hoped for, but still, sorry for your loss.
Steph, quit bogarting the injuries.
Connie, that Van Gogh is gorgeous. Excellent choice.
I almost cried at how many people showed up to march today. I honestly didn't expect that many. They said 800000 in DC.
Who wants to move in with me for a couple months? The simple presence of another person will help me get my shit together.
....and they called her - Teppy Nine Toes.
No toe means no ingrown toenail. The logic is flawless!
