Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Thank you all. I am deeply relieved that she was spared the pain of her bone cancer spreading, which it was just about to do. Instead, she got to live on her own to the end, relatively pain free and enjoying life. 89 is a good run and shhe lived it to the fullest.

That's a wonderful thing, Scrappy. Much love to you.

Dad's got an ugly infected gall bladder, which he will not have later today, according the surgeon. And Dad's cranky, but otherwise fine, so it's all handled. Between S.'s mini stroke, and this, and Second Winter, though, March is definitely On the List.

Good that it is something treatable, Amy. No doubt I would be cranky too.

Instead, she got to live on her own to the end, relatively pain free and enjoying life.

Yes, this is the best we can hope for. I'm glad she was able to be surrounded by loved ones.

I'm looking forward to the March here later today. The turnouts at the earlier events have been incredible.

Coding and Sleeping

DW is driving me crazy. She wants me to get her new website up quickly, but she keeps changing what she wants.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I got one of those emails from Tumblr saying that I'd reblogged something from a Russian-linked account. Okay. How do I have any hope of finding what it was? My reblog on my Tumblr page includes the person I reblogged it from, but not the original poster. Is there any way to find those, other than opening up each reblog and looking at the notes?
