Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Tumblr staff just posted, here's an excerpt:

"Last fall, we uncovered 84 Tumblr accounts linked to the Russian government through the Internet Research Agency, or IRA. These accounts were being used as part of a disinformation campaign leading up to the 2016 U.S. election. After uncovering the activity, we notified law enforcement, terminated the accounts, and deleted their original posts. Behind the scenes, we worked with the Department of Justice, and the information we provided helped indict 13 people who worked for the IRA."

And I got an email from Tumblr listing all my reblogs of posts by blogs which are implicated in this mess. Tumblr has deleted those blogs, and it's up to users to go through and delete any reblogs of them, or not.

here's the post

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's a very thoughtful statement from tumblr. Nice to see.

Our wings are not tired.

Go Tumblr! That is really nice to read.

Today has been an extremely relaxed day. A lot of my customers are without caring on Fridays so if they have an issue they just do something else and ignore it rather than asking me to fix it. Went for a 90 min lunch with DH, only because apparently spring break has started and restaurants are full. We don't wait but we did spend some time driving around looking for places without a bunch of people sitting outside waiting.

So I have had a chance to catch up on internet stuff. Ahhhh, feel like a slacker with no guilt whatsoever.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm working, but someone turned on my slo-mo setting.

Ain't that the truth. I find the Tumblr response so refreshing and encouraging.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Not bad, tumblr. I'm surprised I haven't gotten an email, but I guess I don't reblog much that's political.

brillig

I am looking at this for my main piece of art in my living room, hanging over the computer. It's the same green as where I grew up.

And bought. It will look good against beige walls.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

"I will turn on the tv if you give me the Play-do in your pocket."- actual thing I said.

As it turned out, the Play-do was not in his pocket, but in his boot.
